"Easy birthday boat day, better than expected"
I booked a boat through Sailo for a birthday outing and wasn’t totally sure what to expect, especially since boats in photos can look nicer than they really are. But it ended up going smoothly. The captain showed up on time, the boat was basically what was shown in the listing, and we had a really fun afternoon out on the water. Overall it was an easy experience with no real hassle, and I’d probably use it again.

"Pickup was fine, but check-in took about a while"
The pickup itself went fine, but I had to wait around a bit during check-in. The staff eventually got everything sorted out, so it worked out okay.

"The boat selection was alright, I found..."
The boat selection was alright, I found a few options near me, but not as many as I was hoping for lol. A lot of the listings felt kind of similar too. It worked out fine overall, I just wish there had been a bit more variety to choose from...

"Quick, easy payment process"
Payment was quick and easy, and I didn’t run into any hassle at all. To be fair, I’m only speaking to the payment part of the experience, but that part worked smoothly for me

"Good communication for the most part"
I booked a boat through sailo and the host was easy to get in touch with. He answered the questions I had about this and that before the trip, and he sent over the dock details when I needed them.
One reply did take a little longer than I was hoping, but it wasn’t really a big thing. Everything still went smoothly, and I’d probably use it again.

"Kind of a pain to use on my phone"
Sailo seemed fine at first, but using the site on my phone was a little frustrating. The filters kept resetting, and a few of the boat pages took forever to load for me. I just wanted to compare prices without clicking all over the place, but... yeah. It’s not awful or anything, just not as smooth as I expected.

"Our captain seriously set the bar too high"
Our captain was awesome—super laid-back, really professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. i blame him for making the whole experience feel effortless because now I’m going to expect every trip to be this smooth...

"Felt mostly safe, but there were a few doubts"
The boat itself was fine, and I did feel like the payment process was secure, which I appreciated. That said, the ID checks and the way the owner responded left me a little unsure at times. Maybe it was just my read on it, but it didn’t feel quite as smooth or reassuring as I would’ve liked.

"Refund took a bit longer than I thought"
I did get my refund in the end, so that was fine, but it took longer than I expected. I had to follow up a couple of times before it finally came through, which was a little annoying, honestly...

"Plenty of boats around"
There were actually a good amount of boats available nearby, which was nice. I just wish the weekend options were a little more open, but it’s fine, totally fine...

"Support was slower than I expected"
I used Sailo because a friend had mentioned it when we were talking about planning a day out on the water, and I had a few questions before booking. The site itself was easy to use, but getting answers from support took longer than I thought it would. I ended up having to follow up just to get a basic response.

It wasn’t a horrible experience or anything, but when you’re trying to sort out plans and need help quickly, the delay gets frustrating. I still liked parts of the site, but the support side definitely could’ve been better

"Super easy weekend boat rental"
I booked a boat for the weekend through sailo it was way easier than I expected. I’d been a little hesitant because renting a boat felt like one of those things that could get complicated fast, but the owner replied quickly, the pricing was clear, and everything went smoothly. We had a great time out on the water, so I feel good about choosing it. I’d definitely use sailo again

"The boat had everything we needed"
We booked through Sailo for a day out with friends, the boat ended up being even better than I expected. It just made the whole day feel easy from the start.

It had a clean bathroom, comfy seating, a Bluetooth speaker, cooler space, towels, and a little shaded spot that was such a lifesaver. The kitchen setup was simple, but totally enough for snacks and drinks.
Nothing felt over-the-top or trying too hard, just practical, clean, and really comfortable. We barely had to bring anything with us, which made the day so much more relaxed. I’d definitely use Sailo again.

"Easy boat day for a good price"
It was a really nice day out on the boat and the price felt fair for what we got. Everything went smoothly, no weird surprises or problems. I also appreciated the little stuff, like the boat being clean, the seating being comfortable, and not having to mess around with anything once we got there. Just a simple, relaxing day on the water

"Booking was fine, but no one seemed to own it"
The booking process was easy enough overall, but it got a bit confusing at times. What bothered me most was that it wasn’t really clear who was responsible for what, so I wasn’t sure who to contact when I had questions. It worked out in the end, but it could definitely be smoother.

"It was okay, but I wanted more reassurance"
I used Sailo once to rent a boat. It worked out in the end. The booking part was simple. But the owner took a while to reply. That made me a little unsure if everything was actually confirmed. The boat was mostly like the listing. So it was not a bad experience. I just think better updates would make it feel more reliable.

"Not enough nearby options"
I really wanted to like Sailo, but there just aren’t many boats available anywhere close to me. Most of the listings I found were way too far away, and a few areas I searched barely had anything at all. The site itself works fine, but unless you’re in a major boating area, it kind of feels pointless. I also noticed some policy loopholes where listings can technically show up as available even when the details or location make them not very practical, which is frustrating. I just wish they had more real options nearby.

"Cancellation policy feels a bit strict"
I had a decent experience overall, but the cancellation policy felt kind of strict to me. Not sure how to explain it, I just wish the refund process was a little easier and more flexible
